Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026  ▪︎  4 - 6 p.m.

The bond we share with our animals is one of life's most meaningful relationships. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are warmly invited to join us for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and community.

On Saturday, September 19, from 4–6 p.m., the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine will host our inaugural Honoring the Bond Pet Memorial Event.

Together, we'll honor the lives of the animals who have left paw prints on our hearts through:

  • Create a meaningful keepsake
  • Time for remembrance and reflection
  • Light refreshments
  • A welcoming, supportive community that understands pet loss

This event is open to Veterinary Teaching Hospital clients, family, and members of our local community. All are welcome, regardless of where your pet received care.
