Veterinary Teaching Hospital Expansion
Since its completion in 1987, the Veterinary Teaching Hospital has experienced incredible growth in cases due to the increased demands for veterinary services across the world. To address this need, VA-MD Vet Med has plans to launch an expansion of the hospital to create modern, world-class teaching and clinical research spaces that will advance knowledge through patient care.
Veterinary Teaching Hospital Compassionate Care Fund
The Compassionate Care Fund provides financial support for strays, shelter animals, or companion animals whose owner may not be able to afford essential treatment on their own. Your gift can make a difference in providing life-saving care to animals in the community.

To support any of the highlighted support areas, you can follow the direct giving links provided. To support others funds online, you can follow the below instructions.
- Go to the secure Virginia Tech Online Giving page. This page will open in a new browser window so you may refer back to these instructions by minimizing the giving window.
- The "Select an area" dropbox will be prepopulated with "College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Use the "Select a fund" dropbox to select the fund you would like to support. If you wish to support a fund not listed, please select "Other" and a "Designation" box will appear where you can enter the fund name.
- Download and print our Gift Contribution Form (PDF)
- Make your check payable to "Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc."

Become a leader in the veterinary community by joining the Veterinary Teaching Hospital Founder’s Wall! This wall will be prominently displayed in the waiting room upon the completion of the expansion and renovation of the VTH and will feature those who invested in this project at a level of $50,000 or more, either as an outright gift or pledged over a 5-year period.
- Bronze Member - $50,000
- Silver Member - $100,000
- Gold Member - $250,000
- Platinum Member - $500,000
- Diamond Member - $1,000,000 and above
In addition to our donor wall, there are several opportunities to name individual spaces throughout the center. These range from $100,000 for exam rooms to $15,000,000 to name the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
