Telemedicine visits now available for current clients

Telemedicine appointment with CPRAC

The Small Animal Community Practice is excited to offer telemedicine visits to the service’s current clients and patients. Video conference technology will allow you to meet with the Community Practice veterinarians from anywhere, whether you are traveling or confined at home with family.

Telemedicine visits can be utilized instead of in-person visits in multiple ways. In certain cases, our primary care veterinarians may be able to conduct recheck appointments virtually, which will save you and your pet a trip to the hospital. In other cases, our veterinarians may be able to help you work through a problem at home or can reassure you if it is essential that you urgently seek care for your pet. Telemedicine is also a great way to meet with us to talk about any questions or concerns you may have about your pet’s health and well-being or to help monitor — from the safety and comfort of home — any ongoing medical issues.

» To set up a telemedicine appointment or to learn more, call 540-231-4621 and ask to speak to Community Practice's patient services coordinator, or email us at vthtelevets@vt.edu.
